Position Description

This role is a new position in the new pricing compliance function. The individual will have the opportunity to work with new data sources and stand-up new processes to help review and ensure customer prices are compliant with relevant agreements and will use existing and new functionality to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop processes to compare customer pricing with customer and GPO agreements.
• Develop thorough understanding of customer and GPO price agreements.
• Identify relevant data from multiple sources including the contract management system and the E1 system.
• Develop code to identify items subject to price agreements and calculate required price.
• At item-level, compare current and historical prices with required prices.
• Used advanced Power BI skills to summarize and communicate findings internally.
• Develop expert level knowledge on E1 price engine functionality.
• Use pricing expertise to design effective solutions to maintain and increase compliance.
• Create automated SQL and PBI routines to refresh data and reports.
• Develop tools to track compliance and recommend additional enhancements to help achieve compliance objectives.
• Identify ways to enhance margin and meet department and company goals.

• Excellent proficiency developing SQL to analyze and manipulate large data sets.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to act as project manager for key pricing initiatives and represent Pricing in company-wide initiatives.
• MS Office proficiency. Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables).
• 5 years of experience developing and enhancing processes that support pricing or financial reporting functions.
• 5 years of experience sharing insights from large datasets with business and leadership.
• 3 years of experience using analytical and modeling tools, statistical software, or data visualization tools such as Power BI and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with R, Python, Tableau, SAS.
• Knowledge of E1 price engine functionality.
• Exposure to working with unstructured data.
• Experience supporting product sales or margin analysis.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry.
